Pedestrian Struck by Distracted Bus Driver
A female pedestrian was injured in a Kansas City traffic accident when a KCATA bus struck her. According to a KSHB news report, the pedestrian accident occurred near Ninth and Walnut in downtown Kansas City. Video from inside the bus shows that the driver was distracted as he tried to address a passenger, thus taking his eyes off the road for just a moment. The injured woman received treatment from emergency responders. It is uncertain if the 15-year veteran bus driver will be suspended for the crash.
